Alex and Savanna both took naps today, which happens occasionally, but not too often. Savanna woke up first so she and I were hanging out while Alex slept. When he finally woke up he came out and was still a little groggy. Savanna went over to him and put her arms around him and gave him a big hug. He wasn't really interested in it, but she kept right at his side, putting her arm around his waist and patting his back. It was adorable! She sure loves her brother and mimics him all the time. It is so fun to watch their relationship develop.
We signed up for membership to the local YMCA. They have an AWESOME kids area where there is a climbing/slide type thing like you'd see at McDonald's. Alex LOVES it. Yesterday he REALLY wanted to go, so when Keith got home he said, "Daddy, do you want to go to the gym with me?" Today he got my keys, put them in his pocket and told us we were going to the gym. Unfortunately Keith was headed to YM's and it was nearing bedtime and Savanna had been whining all evening--so no gym tonight, but he did get us out the door yesterday. Keep it up Alex!
