Abby and other going ons

Abby is so busy these days--she has discovered that she can get where she wants to go and find me wherever I am. She is crawling all over (mostly a zombie-esque army crawl, but will do hands and knees for short distances), but she also has discovered that she can pull up on everything! She is OBSESSED with it now! I am finding her everywhere pulling up all over. She is standing in her crib, climbing on boxes, standing along the couch...this has made Savanna's life a little more difficult as she can't get things as far out of Abby's reach as she could before. A couple of days ago she was melting down because Abby was standing at the couch touching a toy she got for Christmas and apparently felt was safe from Abby's reach up on the couch. Not so, Savanna. Not so.

She often gets herself into more than she can handle--she can get up but not down...so she does this scared crying out sound--help!!!!!!

 Alex and Savanna participated in the Chicken Dance in September or October, since then Alex and now Savanna have made bum shaking (like the waddle part) a part of their dancing and a way to get us to laugh. It really makes me laugh almost every time.  I have a video but I'm inept at adding videos. Someday I'm going to figure it out!

The year has started off pretty well. We got snowed in last night with this cold front that has swept through. Keith shoveled the driveway and measured one drift to be 16" deep! Generally I think it snowed about 6". Pretty crazy!  The high tomorrow is supposed to be -2 but the wind chill is supposed to get to -37. It is currently 5 degrees. Brrrrr!

Our big news is that Keith's "back-fill" (the incoming AHRM that will take Keith's position at the plant) starts next Monday! We could hear anytime from now until summer where our next location will be! Keith feels like we'll hear pretty quickly and be out of here by March, but there are some people who have had their back-fills since the end of Summer, early Fall and still haven't been moved. So who knows!! But, our landlord/owners are going to list the house with an April 1st availability date, so hopefully we know something by then if by some miracle they find a buyer interested and wanting it by then! Life might just get exciting here soon!
