Alex started Kindergarten last week. He was very excited for school and riding the bus. We were a little concerned that Savanna would be really sad when he left but she was excited to have a "girls day in" as she called it (Keith has been rotating taking me and the kids on dates so when he took Alex the other week she got to have a "girls night in" date with Mommy and Abby).
True to his form Alex was happy about his days but didn't have much to say about what they did. Thankfully his teacher sent an email each day with a summary of the days activities.
One night as we were eating dinner Keith was asking Alex about the other kids in his class, asking if he knew anyone's names, made a friend, etc. He told him he liked the person he sat by at Table 1, but there was this one girl that he just couldn't stand. We were a little shocked and asked more about it, he said, "yeah, she had this flower in her hair, I just couldn't stand it, it made me like her so much!" We were dying from laughter, it was so funny! We're glad that so far the only thing he can't stand is how much he likes the girl with the flower in her hair. ;) Here are some pictures of his first day!

That is so cute! What adorable kids. We might be heading to Chicago sometime during this last year we will definitely have to come see you!
