Alex woke up Saturday morning with a fever of 102.1*, and after a very fussy night, we called the doctor. We went in and found out that he had an ear infection, likely from this stuffy nose he started getting Wednesday/Thursday. Poor guy was pretty miserable! Sunday after church there was a noticable improvement! Hooray for quick relief. He's still stuffed up but after putting the humidifier in his room he seems to be doing a little better with that today too.
So Alex has officially figured out he can put his foot in his mouth! Literally! :) It's so cute when I change his diaper and his feet go in the air, almost obsessively he starts pulling them down to chew on his toes. He is sure entertaining to have around. It's fun to see him learn new things all the time. He is trying very hard to go forwards, he often ends up accomplishing the opposite, scootching farther backwards, but you can see the wheels turning as he tries new techniques all the time. One day I'm going to see my baby crawling and he won't be such a baby anymore. He continues to be the happiest, smiliest baby ever and we continue to love him more and more every day.
We got family pictures taken on Wednesday, Alex did a great job smiling big and putting on quite the show. I'll put up some pictures soon.
