Cedar Rapids, IA!!
We finally found out where Keith will be assigned this summer with General Mills. He starts May 23 and goes through the middle of August (the 12th I think). We are SO excited! It will be a fun adventure to take off a few weeks after we have our baby and live somewhere totally new for a few months! Luckily General Mills has a company that will find us a place to live so that we don't have to stress about that with everything else we have to do! :)
One of the fun things that we've really enjoyed about General Mills has been the holiday packages that they have sent us from the time Keith accepted their offer (just before Thanksgiving). Yesterday we got a box of Lucky Charms for St Patrick's Day--it's really made us feel welcomed into their circle and makes us feel like they are glad to have us.
It will be a new experience for both Keith and I to head to the midwest--he lived in the South until he was 12 and then lived in Reno, I spent all my years in WA until I headed to school in Idaho and then we've both been in Utah for many, many years. Our missions took us to Spain and Ukraine. So the Midwest will be a whole new adventure, one we're glad we're having in the summer and not winter!! :)
Congratulations! That's fantastic news! You guys are going to have such a great time there. Good luck with all the moving and packing while you're so pregnant. You can do this!
