Why it is called SUNDAY roast!!!

Whenever I make a roast or something that cooks for a few hours, making the house smell so good hours before you can eat it, I walk around STARVING for two and a half hours and realize, this is why we make roasts on Sundays, so you can leave to church and skip the smelling it part until you're home and it's ready!!
