Professional Development Week: i.e. Vacation!!!

Keith had last week off from school. It was a week designed for internship searching and company visiting for those whose search is picking up this semester. Since OB/HR recruiting happens early in the first semester and we have our arranged already this meant that Keith basically had the week off. He had a few projects that he was working on and a few group meetings, but we got to spend a lot of time together as a family. One thing that we did was to go to the Zoo in Salt Lake. Alex really enjoyed it and despite having forgotten the stroller (with the crowds, something that turned out to be a positive thing) he held up really well. Some of his favorite animals were the elephants, the monkeys (but not the gorillas), turtles, and the giraffes. Here are some pictures:

The only thing that marred the vacation was Alex catching the flu--he spent Sunday sick at home, but has recovered well. We're glad it was short lived and hope that no one else catches it!
